Straight from the bonfire of insanities, I feel tractor and So L'il will be forming like Voltron into the beast known as Mellow Crypt, to play the wonderous & mysterious M Shanghai Den in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with the shamanic MV/EE & The Bummer Road, and the classic of the period and hero of the revolution Samara Lubelski, Wednesday, July 13th. More than excited for this one*~
Also, we'll have cd-rs to drop our latest megatron blasts, i.e. the So I Feel a L'il Tractor ep. Free with admission*~
M Shanghai is located at 129 Haveymeyer b/w South 1st and Grand Street in Williamsburg, NY. For directions and info on M Shanghai please visit:
http://www.mshanghaiden.com/index.asp
Show starts at 8pm and there's a suggested donation of $5.
Here's some more info:
The Matt Valentine + Erika Elder Medicine Show: Twice Aquarian Matt mv Valentine is a guitarist, writer, and blue-collar hollerer as well as being the founder/director/flint of The Tower Recordings. Very active in the subterranean community throughout the northeast United States, he is heavily involved in a personal musical fabric that ties free blues/free jazz, minimalism, psychedelic folk/rock, and the avant garde, into a unique and highly individual creation that is instantly recognized as his own music. Usually accompanying him is artist, poet, filmmaker, and multi-instrumentalist Erika Elder, forming The MV/EE Medicine Show. Together they established their grassroots label Child of Microtones dedicated to archiving contemporary ragas, country blues, and free-thinking happenings that the two have long been associated with, presenting them to the public in small handmade pressings of the highest quality form.
Samara Lubelski: Samara is a native New Yorker who grew up in the haze of artist infestation of Soho. She has been involved with various projects ever since she was allowed to cross the street on her own for an egg cream and spilled it on John Cage. Through the time of playing in various groups she has compiled an impressive resume that covers myriad of genres such as her work with the avant/psych/folk outfit of Hall Of Fame into the lair of those bohemian German musos Metabolismus and onto the indie rock interpretations of The Sonora Pine with some serious treks into the world of The Tower Recordings and off world with Jackie O Motherfucker, to name just a few.
Thank you!*~
(ps: thanks to everyone who made it out to scenic last wednesday and the wonderful loveless music group for putting it all together: the show was a blast and we absolutely loved every band who played, cheers!*~)

New So L'il Album*~
The new So L'il album is called 'Dear Kathy,'. It's 8 songs, 40-something minutes, and here's what Robin has to say about it:
This Brooklyn threesome forms creepy melodic music for futuristic creatures to make up dances to. With guitars, some electronic beats, droning keys, and omnichord, theirs is a sound for day dreamers to sink their heads into.
If you're interested in ordering 'Dear Kathy,' or just writing us in general, we'd love to hear from you*. Please contact us at: solil@earthlink.com
You can also order the album through paypal: please paypal to: prousto@hotmail.com
In other news, the I feel tractor & Tiger Vomitt albums continue their course splendidly(new mp3s on the mp3 page), and the Carleen souiree was amazing*~
Well, thank you! We love you!

Goodbye Better News:
A) Well hello out there to all of you members of this insane nation! In any attempt to escape our surreal fates, we'll take time out:
Friday, February 25th, to celebrate, that is, So L'il will be playing
Union Pool in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with our friends:
Cyan
Cut the Wires
Rahim
Hopefully this will be the release party for the new So L'il album, 'Dear Kathy', which has just gone into mastering. The track listing for the album at present is:
1) Enamel Animal
2) Carribean Dreams
3) Birds Are Louder than Chainsaws II
4) Dear Kathy
5) Inside
6) Recieve
7) Useless
8) Addicted
Slop Hop Nation 2005*~
B) Tiger Vomitt & I feel tractors full-lengths are progressing excellently and should be arriving later this Spring. From what we've heard so far, both blow our minds into teenyweeny l'il pieces...P-Bolss is takin' over, 99-cent Loaf is still king of the beats, & Eddie B. is still out to lunch (i.e. queen lucidity)*~
Suffice to say we are very excited. (If the Long Island show Tiger Vomitt played luxury cruise style is any indication of the future, we'll all be cruising very soon*~
C) Thanks to all those who made it out to the Goodbye Better Holiday Extravaganza. Your generosity helped raise some money for the Tsunami victims, and kick it old school Pete's style*~
D) We'll have mp3s up on the site in the next few weeks from I feel tractor, Tiger Vomitt, and So L'il
D) And finally, look out for the Goodbye Better Spring Juvenilia Saturday, March 19th...
